Melodic views of Indian life : harmonization and adaptation of American Indian melodies by Horace Alden Miller
Gambling song.--The song of the Great Spirit.--Hentanewa.--Father, have pity.--The reveille.--The midewiwin.--Ceremonial song.--Ghost dance.--The seven venerable priests
This seems to be scores of music written by a non-Native person inspired by some Bureau of Ethnology plates from the early 1900s (or before?). If this is the case, it may not be culturally sensitive (though the plates themselves lilely are). There are some songs labeled Midewiwin. Again, this could be an entirely non-Indigenous interpretation -- the music having nothing to do with Midewiwin songs or ceremonies -- but it is unclear.
