the greeting bozho /or/ boozhoo comes from Nanabozho, one of the first neshnabe, who went around & named everything (plants, animals, trees, ect...) it is said one day he will come back, & so when we greet someone "bozho" or "boozhoo" its asking if that is him coming back.
