"empowering our young sons and nephews of the present to grow into strong men and fathers in the future" _______ about the event: _______ Boys with Braids is a gathering to share teachings about the sacredness of hair, to foster a sense of pride for boys who choose to grow their hair long and to use education as a means to increase self-confidence. Males of youth, adult, and elder ages with long and short hair. All future and former long haired males and their supportive friends and family. Teachers, social workers, coaches and leaders will also be invited to attend and learn more about Neshnabé culture.
